Whiskey Sauce


1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. half- and- half
2 Tbs. whiskey


Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Let cool and add whiskey. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
