Broccoli with Sauce


2 c. chopped onions
4 Tbs. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1/4 lb. mild Cheddar cheese


Cook broccoli in a small amount of water, then drain it. Put half the broccoli in a buttered casserole and add the onions. Make a cheese sauce by cooking the flour, salt and milk until it is thick, then adding the cheese and stirring until it melts. Pour half of the sauce on top of the broccoli in the casserole. Add the remainder of the broccoli, then the rest of the cheese sauce. Bake it at 375 for about 45 minutes.
