Vanilla Sauce


1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbs. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. cornstarch


Heat the milk and vanilla and then let cool. Blend sugar, egg yolks and cornstarch until smooth and stir into milk. Beat in double boiler over moderate heat until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir until cool.
