Butter Creams


1/2 c. butter, softened
1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted
2 Tbs. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
10 oz. chocolate-flavored candy coating


Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Stir in milk, vanilla, and salt. Chill several hours or until firm. Shape into 3/4" balls. Place candy coating in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook until coating melts. Dip each ball of candy into coating. Place on wax paper to cool. Makes 5 dozen.
