Ingredients:
3 Tbs. butter
4 Tbs. flour
1 onion, chopped
2 c. water
1 bay leaf
2 cloves
2 Tbs. vinegar
Salt and pepper
Paprika

Directions:
Melt butter, add flour and slowly brown. Mix in onion. Add water little by little, stirring constantly. Season. Bring to a boil. Strain before serving.
