Sour Cream Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp.salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shortening

Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together; add vanilla. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Sift flour, measure and add salt and baking soda. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Mix thourghly. Drop by teaspoonsful onto greased baking sheet, spaced 2 to 3 " apart. Bake at 375 about 12 min. Makes 5 doz.
