Scalloped Oysters


1/2 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. coarse cracker crumbs
1 pt. oysters and liquor


Lightly mix crackers and butter. Place 1/2 of buttered crumbs in baking dish. Pour oysters and liquid over crumbs. Put remaining crumbs on top of oysters. Do not salt. Use dish large enough for 1 layer, as this becomes soggy if more than one layer. Bake at 450 for 20 minutes. Sprinkle paprika on top.
