Roast Turkey


1 turkey
1 stalk celery
1 carrot
1 onion
Salt and pepper

Put salt and pepper inside and outside of turkey. Place the vegetables in the cavity. Roast according to the directions on the turkey covering. I prefer to roast the turkey in the open so the skin gets crispy. Baste the bird occasionally and tent with with aluminum foil if it is getting too brown. Bake at 325 until done.
Cook giblets separately and use when making a gravy.
