Mushroom Soup


3 c. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 Tbs. butter
1 c. milk
8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 c. boiling water


Saute mushrooms and onion in butter. Add milk and cream cheese; stir over low heat until cream cheese is melted. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water; add to cream cheese mixture. Heat thoroughly. Makes 3 cups.
