Glazed Blueberry cream Cheese Pie


4 c. fresh blueberries
1 c. sugar
3 oz. softened cream cheese
1 c. water
3 Tbs. cornstarch
Baked 9" pastry shell


Wash and drain berries. Simmer 1 c. berries and 2/3 c. water for 3 minutes. Blend sugar, cornstarch and remaining 1/3 c. water; add to blueberry mixture. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Cool. Spread cream cheese over bottom of cooled pie shell. Put 2 1/2 c. berries in baked pie shell. cover with cooked mixture. Garnish with 1/2 c. berries. Refrigerate until firm.
