Macaroni and Cheese


4 Tbs. butter, melted
4 Tbs. flour
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
2 c. macaroni, cooked
1/3 lb. grated cheddar cheese


Blend flour into butter to make a paste; add 1/2 c. milk. Stir constantly, adding remaining milk. Add salt. Place a layer of macaroni in a baking dish; sprinkle with grated cheese. Repeat layers; cover with sauce. Top with buttered crumbs if desired. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
