French Onion Soup


4 lg. onions, sliced thin
1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 Tbs. flour
1 1/2 qt. beef bouillon
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce


Saute onions slowly in butter in heavy stock pot until transparent. Sprinkle flour, paprika and Worcestershire sauce over onions and cook another 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Slowly add bouillon, stirring constantly until soup begins to boil. Lower heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with croutons and grated Parmesan cheese.
