Creamed Carrots


4 c. sliced carrots
3 Tbs. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. cream


Cook carrots until tender and almost dry.
Brown the butter and add to the carrots and simmer slowly for several minutes. Season.
Remove the carrots from the heat and add the cream.
Serve immediately.
