Baked Ziti
Ingredients:
1 med. onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbs. olive oil
1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes with liquid, cut up
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. can sliced mushrooms
8 oz. ziti, cooked and drained
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 Tbs. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
In a large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender. Add tomatoes, oregano, basil and salt and pepper. Cover, simmer for 20 minutes. Place ziti in an ungreased baking dish.
Cover with sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with both cheeses. Bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
Hamburger meat,browned, may be added to this recipe.
Makes 6-8 Servings
