Sweet and Sour Cabbage


1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 to 3/8 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbs. butter
1 apple, sliced
Up to 3 lbs. cabbage, cut up as in slaw


Cook all ingredients together over low heat approximately 20 minutes or until tender. Make day before you serve.
