Smoky Salmon Spread


1 can (7 3/4 oz.) salmon
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 drops liquid smoke flavoring
3 Tbs. sliced green onion


Drain salmon, reserving 2 Tbs.salmon liquid; flake. Combine cream cheese, liquid smoke flavoring and salmon liquid; . Serve as blend thoroughly. Stir in green onion, then fold in salmon. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight to blend flavors. Serve as a spread with crackers or bagels. Makes about 1 1/2 c. spread.
