Russian Teacakes

Ingredients:

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sifted 10x sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Directions:

Mix sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Blend flour and salt in. Mix in nuts. Chill. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough into 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. While warm roll in 10x sugar. Cool. Rool in 10x sugar again. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
