Pecan Tassies

Ingredients:

Crust:
1/2 lb. butter, softened
1/2 lb. cream cheese, softened
2 c. clour

Mix and form into balls and press into small tins, flatten to sides.

Filling;
3 c. brown sugar
4 Tbs. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, salt and eggs. Mix and add 1/12 c. chopped pecans. Sprinkle some of the pecans on bottom of crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce oven to 250 for 10 minutes. Makes about 56 tassies.
