Parsnips ans Sweet Potatoes


1 lb. parsnips
1 lb. sweet potatoes
2 Tbs. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. allspice
Milk (optional)
1 Tbs. brown sugar (optional)


Peel and slice parsnips and potatoes. In covered pan cook vegetables in a small amount of boiling salted water till tender; drain. In mixer bowl combine hot potatoes, butter, salt and allspice. Beat till smooth; add milk if needed, to make fluffy.

Makes 4-6 Servings
