Lemon Frosting


1/2 c. butter
Dash of salt
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
4 c. 10x sugar
4 tsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. milk


Cream the butter, salt and rind. Gradually add part of the sugar. Then add the remaining sugar alternately with the lemon juice and milk until the mixture is of the right consistency to spread.
