Hot Crab on Ham


1 c. butter
2 lbs. backfin crabmeat
1/4 c. white wine
1/4 c. condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
Several dashes Worcestershire sauce
Dash garlic powder


Combine butter, crabmeat, white wine, soup, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder in a frying pan. Warm slowly; transfer to chafing dish. Serve with melba rounds or serve on thin slices of country ham as an entree.
