Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Mix all ingredients except vanilla in 2 1/2 qt. saucepan. Boil 1 minute without stirring. Place saucepan in bowl of ice and water. Beat until frosting is smooth and spreading consistency. Stir in vanilla.
