Cream Sauce


1/2 c. butter
6 Tbs. flour
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. salt


Melt butter over very low flame, blend in flour, cook 2 minutes, stirring well, add milk geadually and salt and bring to boiling point. Cook at a simmer until thickened, stirring constantly. Makes 5 cups.
