Corn Chowder


12 slices bacon, cut fine
2 med. onions, chopped
2 c. carrots, diced
2 c. diced celery
8 c. whole-kernel corn
6 c. milk
1 tsp. pepper
4 tsp. salt
4 Tbs. chopped parsley


Fry bacon with onion. Add other vegetables and a small amount of water. simmer until tender. Add the corn, milk and parsley and bring to boiling. Add seasonings. Serve with crackers.
