Chicken Livers


1 lb. chicken livers
1/2 lb. mushrooms, washed, dried and sliced
1 clove garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Approximately 1/4 c. red wine
2 Tbs. oil


Saute livers in oil and garlic. Add mushrooms and cook 15 minutes, covered; add wine (keep covered) and cook 5 minutes longer. You may use more wine to your taste. Serve as a side dish or on rice as a main course.
