Chicken Livers


1/2 lb. bacon, chopped and browned
1 lb. chicken livers
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. red wine


Brown chopped bacon. Coat livers in flour, saute with bacon and garlic. add mushrooms and cook 15 minutes, covered; add wine and cook 5 minutes longer. Serve on rice.
