Carrot Casserole


2 lb. carrots
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2/3 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. sugar
Bread crumbs


Slice and cook carrots in salted water until tender. Drain, add and mix remaining ingredients well. Place in buttered casserole and top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 until bubbly.
