Buttery Basting Sauce


1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. lemon juice
3 Tbs. finely chopped onion
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper


Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes. Use to baste chicken, pork chops, or kabobs. Makes 3/4 cup.
