Beef N Beer stew


3-4 lbs. cubed beef
2 onions, sliced thin
2 peppers, sliced thin
12 mushrooms, cut in chunks
2 c. beer
1 1/2 Tbs. ketchup
1 Tbs. mustard


Salt and pepper meat, and brown lightly in heavy skillet, add vegetables and brown also. Pour beer over all. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Cover tightly and simmer on low for 2 to 2 1/2 hours until meat is tender. Goes well with baked potato, salad and garlic bread.
