Baked Beet Casserole


4 Tbs. butter, melted
4 Tbs. cornstarch
1 c. water
4 Tbs. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. horseradish
4 c. cooked beets
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
3 Tbs. butter


Blend butter and cornstarch; add water gradually and cook until mixture begins to thicken, stirring constantly. Add sugar, salt horseradish and beets. Pour into greased baking dish. Cover with crumbs, dot with butter and bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until crumbs are browned.

Makes 6-8 Servings
