Pineapple Pudding


1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers


Cream sugar, egg and butter; add pineapple and nuts and Cool Whip. Starting with wafers, layer in 9x13" pan. Top with Cool Whip if desired. Refrigerate overnight.
