Peas and Mushrooms


2 c. shelled peas or 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbs. butter
1 tsp. sugar
1 Tbs. chopped pimiento


Cook fresh peas in a small amount of boiling salted water for 10 to 12 minutes. Drain well. Cook mushrooms and onion in butter till tender. Stir in sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, and dash pepper. Add cooked peas and pimiento. Cover and heat through.
