Ingredients:
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 c. corn meal
1 c. cold water
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 c. corn meal
1 c. cold water
Directions:
Bring 2 c. water and salt to a boil. Add corn meal mixed with the cold water, stir constantly for a few minutes. Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or more. Pour into loaf container and cool. When cold slice about 1/8 inch thick and fry on both sides. Serve with molasses if desired.
