Lemon Turnips


3 medium turnips, peeled and cut in strips
2 Tbs. butter
1 Tbs. snipped parsley
1 tsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. lemon juice


Cook turnips in a little boiling water till tender; about 10 to 20 minutes. Drain well. Add butter, parsley, chopped onion, and lemon juice. Toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper.

Makes 4 Servings
