Kiwi Sponge Cake Squares


5 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. honey
3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
10-12 kiwi fruit, pared and cut up
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbs. cornstarch
Whipped cream (optional)


Beat eggs, gradually adding sugar, and then the honey. Beat until thick (about 10 min.).
Sift flour and baking powder into egg mixture: beat until smooth. Pour into a 18x12x3/4" greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool.
