Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. canned chick peas, drained
3 garlic cloves
1 dash soy sauce
1/2 tsp. salt, optional
3/4 c. tahini
1/4 c. minced parsley, packed
1/4 c. green onion, minced
Freshly ground black pepper
Dash of cayenne pepper
1/4 c. oil (more or less to make your choice of consistency)

Directions:
In a food processor, whirl the chick peas into a thick paste. Add the other ingredients and pulse on and off until well-blended. Chill, taste for seasonings.
