Cracker Pudding


1 gal. milk
2 c. sugar
1 tbs. vanilla
10 eggs, separated
2 1/4 c. ground saltine cracker crumbs


Scald milk. Beat egg yolks and add sugar. Add this mixture gradually to scalded milk. Stir constantly. Cook about 1 minute, then add crumbs. Stir until mixture thickens. remove from heat and add stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla.
