Carrot Casserole


3 lb. carrots, cut in 1/4" slices, cooked until crisp tender
2 Tbs. butter
2 Tbs. flour
1 c. half and half
Salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. sour cream
1 Tbs. horseradish
4 slices bread, torn in small pieces, sauteed in 3 Tbs. butter


Place carrots in casserole. Melt butter, add flour and saute. Add half and half over med. heat, stirring until thick. Add other ingredients. Pour over carrots. Top with sauteed bread. Bake uncovered at 300 for 25 minutes.
