Beef Goulash


1 1/2 lb. chuck or stew meat
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 Tbs. oil
1/5 to 1/2 can tomato paste
2 c. water


Cut meat into 1/2" cubes. Brown in lg. pan in 1 Tbs. oil. Mix tomato paste onion soup and water together. Pour in pan with meat. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Serve over lg. egg noodles or rice.
